We have for sale an Antique 1880s French Corkscrew
Wonderful find an 1880s Armand Guichard’s L’Excelsior Corkscrew. This is a fully marked version, made of nickel-plated brass with bull horn handle. This is a highly collectible corkscrew
Patented September 27th 1880, French Patent No. 138,887
To use,
Screw handle all the way down exposing the bladed corkscrew, then insert the corkscrew into cork turning handle clockwise once fully inserted turn handle counterclockwise and cork will be pulled.
Circa, 1880-90s
Measures, 7” tall, 2 ½” wide at handle.
Marked, France, A.G. Bte S.G.D.G. Paris L’Excelsior
