We have for sale an Antique Monmouth Pottery Co. Two Gallon Crock
Wonderful late 1800s two-gallon stoneware crock made by the Monmouth Pottery Company of Monmouth ILL. This is a rare crock the company was only in business for 14 years, before being acquired by The Western Stoneware Company. The Western Company continued to use the Maple Leaf Logo Pattern for another 25 years.
The 2-gallon crock is the perfect size for display, this will make a wonderful addition to your collection or as a special gift.
History,
The Monmouth Pottery Company was located in Monmouth, Illinois. The factory opened in 1892. They made a variety of utilitarian wares. The company was purchased by The Western Stoneware Company in 1906. The Maple Leaf Logo was still used until about 1930.

Measurements, 10” tall, 9 ¼” diameter at top rim, weighs 10.6-pounds
Condition, Very good with normal manufacturing blemishes, and a couple chips on the bottom edge, also a hairline crack on the backside as shown in pictures, Please see all pictures.
