We have for sale an Antique Pint Size Ball Ideal Mason Canning Jar with Zinc Lid, new Rubber Gasket.
This is a wonderful 1920s Smoked Glass Ball Ideal Canning Jars with zinc lid and a new rubber gasket.
The jar is original for this period not a remake. The BALL lettering indicates these were made between 1923 and 1933. The glass does have bubbles common in this period. What makes this Ball Jar unusual is its smoky gray color. The numbers on the bottom of the jar is #7 this is a manufacturing number.
One picture shows the color difference with clear jar and blue jar, these other two jars are not included in sale.

Measures, 5 ½” tall, 3 ¼” diameter at base.
Circa, 1923-1933
Condition, vintage used condition, has flea bites on rim, no cracks, normal scuffs and scratches, new rubber gasket included. Please see all pictures.
