Antique Letterpress Corkscrew Printers Blocks
What a wonderful find this late 1800s copper face printer blocks. This is an advertisement printers block for the William Rockwell Clough’s Wire Corkscrews. Don’t laugh, Mr. Clough manufactured over a Billon wire corkscrews from the mid 1800 till the 1920s, one of the largest manufacturers of American made corkscrews.
The print block is made of engraved wood and measures 5 1/8” x 2 ½” x 15/16” thick. Please note the print block corkscrews are actual size.
We have included a photo showing the actual corkscrews these are not included in the sale.
Circa, 1880-1900
Condition, very nice condition, needs cleaned.

So unique I couldn’t pass this up! It’s perfect along with some other vintage pieces on my bar, but it’s an interesting accent wherever I use it. This shop has such a delightful selection of unusual finds that I will definitely be back for more. Very happy to have found this shop!
