We have for sale an Antique 1855 LUND Single Lever Corkscrew
Wonderful find this antique corkscrew. Made in London England in approximately 1855 this is known as a single lever corkscrew made by William Lund.
The handle is marked LUND PATENTEE & MAKER on one side and 57 CORNHILL & 24 FLEET ST. LONDON on the other side, the worm (screw) is marked LONDON on one side and PATENT on the other.
This corkscrew is finish in a Bronze-washed plating this was a common type of plating in England during the mid to latter part of the 1800s. This corkscrew still shows a good portion of the plating left which is very unusual find normally the plating is gone.

Measures, handle 8 ¼” long, worm 3 ¾” long
Condition, Very nice condition does show normal wear for age. Please see all pictures as they are part of the description.
