What a wonderful find these early 1900s Wood and Zinc printer blocks.
These are advertisement print blocks for a Williamson Company of Newark NJ, bullet shaped corkscrew, Patented Sept 4, 1900. We have added a photos with the actual corkscrew in the picture (corkscrews not included in sale).
The square block is zinc nailed on wood backing. Measuring- 2 1/8” x 2 1/8” x 15/16” thick. Made by International Photo Engravers Union.
The rectangular block is a engraved wood block. Measuring- ¾” x 3” x 15/16” thick. No mfg markings.
Circa, 1900-1920
Marked, I.P.E.U.
Condition, very nice condition.
