Thank you for viewing our Store,
We have for sale an Antique Farrow Jackson style brass corkscrew
Wonderful classic corkscrew from the late 1800s. Commonly called a Farrow & Jackson style corkscrew because examples of this style were shown in their catalog in the later 1800s. This is most likely an Italian version due to the bladed worm (corkscrew). Made of solid brass with a steel bladed style corkscrew.
Bladed Worm – this is a nice addition to any corkscrew it allows you to insert the screw into the cork with ease, as it cuts its way through the cork.
The corkscrew was original finished in a nickel plating over the brass, most of the nickel plating has worn off.
Circa, 1900
Marked, unmarked
Measures, 5 ¾” tall, 2.25” wide at wingnut.
Condition, good condition with normal wear for age, nickel finish is very worn. Please see all pictures.
