We have for sale a charming 1950s Singer Sewhandy Beige Crinkle Finish Model No. 20 Child’s Sewing Machine
Beautiful little sewing machine made by Singer. This is a fully Functional Hand Crank Sewing Machine in toy size.
Originally patented in 1910 and manufactured until 1975, these were known as the most popular toy sewing machines ever made. This is the 1950s model which has a thicker base column although it still uses the same mechanics as its predecessor of 1910.
This beauty is finished in Beige Crinkle finish with gold trim. It operates smoothly. The thread running is simple on this machine with all the parts numbered 1 thru 5 and down to the needle. Condition is very clean with only a few minor scuffs and scratches in the finish. The spool spindle has a slight bend but still fully functional.
The machine is sold AS IS with the original box. Machine comes with fabric guide and one extra needle.
Will make a wonderful addition to your collection or as a memorial gift. Please see all pictures as they are part of the description.

Fun Fact, these machines were originally made as a fully functional toy, but later advertising sold it as a mini portable sewing machine for adults.

Condition, Machine is very good minor paint chips along sewing plate edge and base, minor spot rust on chrome. Box shows wear but solid. Please see all pictures.
