We have for sale an Antique English Magic Lever Cork Drawer, Corkscrew.
This is a highly collectible corkscrew from the early 1900s it is marked Magic Lever Cork Drawer made in England it is also marked PAT. APPL. FOR meaning the inventor applied for a patent. The Patented was never granted for this design so getting an accurate date for this corkscrew is difficult.
This was an Advertising corkscrew given away by the Bellows & Company of New York City. The Bellows Co, were makers of whiskeys and wines dating back to the 1600s until 1930s.
Circa, 1920s
Marked, Made in England.
Measures, 5.75” high, 3” wide closed
Condition very nice with minor plating scuffs and scratches.
