We have for sale a wonderful antique Singer puzzle box with Singer attachments and thumb indent box latch works perfectly. The workmanship is extraordinary for this oak velveteen lined box with interior latches so each attachment could be secured. This particular box is designated as Style #11 for the Singer Model 15 treadle machine. This one is unique as it holds round bobbins. It is missing all the screw drivers. Please see all pictures as they are part of the description.

The patent was applied for in 1888 by John M Griest (he spelled his name that way before he began the Greist Manufacturing Company). The patent for a ‘folding box’ was issued in 1889 to the Singer Manufacturing Co.
