We have for sale an Antique 1930s JUSTRITE Carbide Miner’s Brass Mining Artifact – JUSTRITE Carbide Miner’s Headlamp Torch with Chrome Reflector
This is a wonderful Justrite carbide mining headlamp in good clean condition with all the guts intact. Heyday of this type of light was from the turn of the century to the 1930’s.
These were used in the coal mines for years, they are designed to hang on the front of a miners hat. Marked on bottom (United States of America).
We have lightly cleaned the lamp, it has no smell from the carbide and its ready to display or as an amazing gift.

*** For those not familiar with these lamps they are hand welded together, the gray areas on the brass are lead solder used to weld the lamp together,
you will see the gray solder on all of these types of lamps.

Measures, 4" tall, reflector is 4" diameter.
Condition, Amazing condition, reflector has pitting on the chrome finish. Lamp only has one ding in the fill cap. Please see all pictures.
