We have for sale a Vintage Dietz Vesta Railroad Lantern from the N.Y.C.S. New York Central System Railroad.
Wonderful 1936 Dietz Vesta Railroad Lantern. This lantern was made for the New York Central System Railroad and marked N.Y.C.S. on the top of the lantern and the glass globe is marked with raised letters NYC Lines.
The condition is very good, appears to have only been used a few times very clean for being 84 years old. Has the original cloth wick. Glass is solid with no cracks.
We have lightly clean but left all the natural patina, it has NO gas or oil smell perfect for display.
Circa; 1936
Marked; Dietz Vesta with a patent date of September 2, 1936
Measure approximately; 15” tall with handle up. 6 ½” diameter at base.
Condition; Very nice condition please see all pictures.

Sell worked very hard with me to get this item to me. My wife and I had one similar and wanted it to have a match. Item came in time looks as expected and still works like the day it was made. Posted a pick so happy to have a pair and have it functional.
