We have for sale a French Decorative Brass Handle Corkscrew
Wonderful piece of history made at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth century. This corkscrew is made with a solid brass handle and a steel wire helix. The theme is grapes and vines.
History;
Between the nineteenth and twentieth century the French began to product decorative corkscrews made from metal, brass and nickel with themes including Bacchus the god of wine and Grape Vines.
Circa; 1900
Measures; 4 ¼” long, 2 ¾” wide at handle.
Marked; none
Condition; fair with normal wear. Please see all pictures.
