We have for sale a Vintage George D Ellis & Sons (Ellisco)
Wonderful Ellisco 5 Gallon fuel can made by George D Ellis & Sons MFG Philadelphia PA. George D Ellis Company started in 1843 and in 1900 change their name to Ellisco. Wonderful old can made of solid Galvanized Steel with name brass tags with folding handle, built to last forever. These were to transport fuel and oils in bulk.
The can is clean with no smell or trace of any oil or fuel. Can is in rustic condition and perfect.
Circa; 1930-40s

Measures; 23 ½” tall with handle up, 10 ½” diameter at base.
Condition; We have cleaned there is no smell or trace of any oil or fuel. Can is in rustic condition no holes, just perfect.
