We have for sale an Antique Adams & Westlake Tall Globe Lantern Marked C & NW RR
Wonderful late 1800s Railroad Lantern made by the Adams & Westlake of Chicago & New York. Lantern was made for and marked C & N.W. RR (Chicago & North Western Railroad)
This is an unusual lantern with an E. Miller Company Beacon Burner. To light and adjust the wick you need to release the burner from the bottom of the lantern. The lantern is marked Adams & Westlake with the initials C & N.W. RR. This is the original handle which has been wrapped with a leather cord. The clear globe is considered a tall globe marked Dietz, it may not be the original globe. We have not cleaned the lantern and is as found.

Measures; 10” tall excluding handle, 7 1/2" diameter at base.
Condition; vintage condition, with minor dents and dings from use. Burner has corrosion on bottom. Needs cleaned. Please see all pictures.
