We have for sale an Antique Cast Iron Calf Weaning Device
This medieval looking device was used years ago for weaning little calf off their mother’s milk, I’m thinking it probably worked very well. The two round balls at the top of the mechanism would be clamped to the end of the nose and the hinged plate hung over the calf’s mouth.
Circa; 1903
Marked: PAT.D, OCT. 20.1903
Measures: 5” tall, 5 ¼” wide.
Condition: Antique condition with surface rust slight bend.
