We have for sale an Antique Corkscrew Roundlet Style Travel Corkscrew
Wonderful antique travel size corkscrew. Known as a roundlet style corkscrew this lovely piece it is designed to travel in one’s pocket or bag. Made of beautiful nickel-plated brass, unscrew the case and slide out the fluted worm (screw) and screw the case back together to form the
handle.
The fluted worm (screw), the flute is a groove cut along the backside of the worm, when you pierce the cork air rushes down the flute entering the bottle and releasing the vacuum pressure in the bottle allowing the cork to be removed much easier.
