We have for sale a Vintage John Fitzgerald Kennedy ‘A Memorial Album’ LP Record of Highlights of Speeches Made by President Kennedy. Produced in 1963.
Impressive Memorial Album of ‘Highlights of Speeches Made By Our Beloved President’. This memorial tribute was produced and broadcast by Radio Station WMCA, New York on the day JFK was assassinated: November 22, 1963. Actual speeches including the Inaugural Address (“Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country”), Civil Rights, Cuban Rockets, Nixon-Kennedy debate, etc.
Item is in very good vintage condition with very slight edge and cover scuffs. Record appears to be unscratched. Please see all photos as they are part of the description.
By the fall of 1963, President John F. Kennedy and his political advisers were preparing for the next presidential campaign. At the end of September, the president traveled west, speaking in nine different states in less than a week. The trip was meant to put a spotlight on natural resources and conservation efforts. But JFK also used it to sound out themes—such as education, national security, and world peace—for his run in 1964.
Shortly after noon on November 22, 1963, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated as he rode in a motorcade through Dealey Plaza in downtown Dallas, Texas.
