Wonderful 1950s French ZIG ZAG Concertina Corkscrew This is one of the most sought-after mid-century concertina corkscrew this one has a sharp bladed worm (corkscrew) and solid rivet hinges dating it around 1950s at the top of the accordion hinge are two hooks these are bottle openers / cap lifters. It is Marked ZIG ZAG "Bte & S. G. D. G. Fn & Et M & M Deposes France. This is a very collectible corkscrew.
This style Zig Zag was originally patented by Marie Jules Leon Joseph Bart, Nancy, France February 17, 1928 French Patent No 649 209.
Era; 1950s
Measures; 6 ¼” long retracted, 10 ½” expanded, 3” wide
Marked; Made in France, Bte S.G.D.G. Dep
Condition; Vintage with some plating lose around rivets, nice straight and shape bladed worm.
