We have for sale a 1920s Fraim & Slaymaker Brass Switch Lock for the B & O Railroad, Baltimore & Ohio Railroad
A wonderful piece of history this solid brass railroad lock made by the Fraim & Slaymaker Hardware Co. The lock work very well shows minor wear and has one of the original keys.
History:
Baltimore and Ohio Railroad is the oldest railroad in the USA and opened its first line in 1830 and was in business until 1987 when CSX took over the and changed the name to CSX Transportation.
Fraim & Slaymaker, the two companies merged in the early 20's. And were in business until about right after the Great Depression around 1932.
