Antique Barware, German Travel Barware Set, Corkscrew, Wine Bottle Opener
1928 German Travel Barware Set Including Cups, Funnel, Cap Lifter & Hidden Corkscrew
Lovely German travel set made of silver-plated brass in a hand stitched leather case. The set includes three cups, one funnel, cap lifter and hidden corkscrew in leather case. The funnel is designed to be a funnel and also a cup by placing the stem at the base of the funnel it seals the funnel allowing it to be used as a cup. The stem has a hidden corkscrew inside, the stem is screwed onto the base unscrew it to reveal a hidden corkscrew, the base has a cap lifter at one end.
The original patent for this Travel Set was issued in 1925 it did not have a cap lifter. In 1928 this patent was reissued this design is rarely seen.

Measures, 2.75” tall, 2” diameter
Condition, Very good condition with light wear and tarnish, leather case is very pliable and has water staining.
