We have for sale a Vintage Crescent MFG Co. Box Scraper Plane
Very cool old tool known as a Box Scraper it was originally designed to scrape labels from wooden shipping boxes so that the boxes could be re-use.
This was manufactured by the Crescent MFG Co. their design is remarkably close to the Stanley Tool Co. #70 Box Scraper offered from 1877 – 1958, Stanley was known to make tools for other companies during war time.
