We have for sale an Antique Hole Auger, Hand Drill
Rustic Hole Auger from the late 1800 to early 1900s. When I see tools like this I am so happy I grew up in the 20th century and had power tools this would be the original cordless drill. These were used in barn building back in the day, used to drill hole to secure the mortis and tendon joints on barns and log homes. The wood handle has wonderful worm holes the steel shank running through the handle and is held in place by a square nut it will drill a 1 ½” hole.

Measures; 18” long, 16” wide at handle
Condition; vintage as found, wood handle has worm holes steel has surface rust.
