We have for sale a Vintage Military Surveyors Transit with Wood Case.
This is a Surveyors Transit from WWII or the Korean War Era. There is no name or date on this, due to the fact manufactures did not label items like this during war time. It is a light weight transit with brass scope and brass leveling adjusters and aluminum frame painted army green. The scope is very clear and functions nicely it adjust by extending the eye piece in or out.
Era; 1940- 50s
Condition; Very vintage piece has considerable paint lose on frame and tarnish and scuffs on brass. Wood case is solid with scuffs and dings the hardware on the case is rusted but functions.
