We have for sale an 1890s Antique Wolverine Parlor Table
This Elegant Quarter Sawn Oak Parlor table is from the Turn of the Century. It has been Refinished in a beautiful medium oak finish. It has wonderful sized table perfect for any seating area.
The Parlor table was manufactured by the Wolverine Mfg. Co. of Detroit, and has a nice makers label on the bottom.
Era; 1890-1900
Measures; 17 ¾” tall x 11 ¾” square
Condition; was been refinished years ago could use some tightening up on the top joints.
History;
The Wolverine Manufacturing Co. was organized by Frederick B. Smith in 1887. He started the furniture company with 12 men and $10,000. The company specialized in manufacturing library and parlor tables. By 1908 Wolverine claimed to be the largest manufacturer of its kind in the world. The company was out of business by 1919.
