We have for sale an Mid 1800s Antique Robert Jones Stag Horn Handle Corkscrew
This is a Mid 1800s Robert Jones Corkscrew with stag horn handle and square shank spun into a bladed worm (screw) the square shank goes through the stag handle and is secured with a copper fitting at the top of the handle.

History;
Robert Jones is regarded as one of the most prominent corkscrew manufacturers of England. Robert Jones was first mentioned in 1829 as a manufacturer of Birmingham. Birmingham was the center for smith shops during the Victorian Era of the Industrial Revolution in England. Robert Jones died in 1875. After his death the business started to decline, and the last notice of Robert Jones & Son was in the 1905 Birmingham directory of manufacturers.

Condition is good with slight bend on shaft.
