We have for sale an Antique Patented 1904 Henry Disston & Sons / Stanley Rule & Level Co. #50 Miter Box and Saw
This is a rare saw it is the 1904 miter saw made by both Henry Disston & Sons Stanley Rule & Level Co. Has the Henry Disston & Sons brass medallion on the handle, and both Henry Disston & Sons Stanley Rule & Level Co. etching on the saw blade, the saw back has a steel stiffing rib with the Henry Disston & Sons name engraved in it, also has some of the original paper sticker is on the backside of the fence. I believe this is the first year the #50 miter box was introduced.

The saw; has a 26 ½” blade with an overall measurement of 33 ½” saw cutting depth is 4 ¾” condition is as found with solid handle needs cleaning, 11ppi.

Miter Box; has Patent dates of 1-12-04, 3-15-04, 8-2-04, 9-27-04. The box is solid frame is good no cracks or chips in the steel, frame board looks like the original with stock guide plate, has both the stock guides, swing arm moves and operates freely. Everything on the box appears to be here some screws and wing nut have been replaced over the years but overall it is complete.

Condition; overall in nice condition as found we have only added a couple drops of oil where needed, needs a good cleaning and restoration.
