We have for sale Charming Antique and Vintage White Mother of Pearl Shoe Buttons.
Bulk lot of 72 vintage mixed 3/8”to 3/4”mother of pearl shoe buttons with many 7/8” silver color metal button shanks. Popular from the 1880’s to 1920s, button manufactures touted pearl as more durable, more lustrous, beautiful, and unaffected by steam, heat, and water. It appears that some of these were salvaged from garments. Likely this size was used also for lingerie and ladies gloves. Includes several metal shank clips.
Perfect for a craft project - maybe a Christmas angel, scrapbooking, craft, jewelry making or matching costumes or uniforms.
