Thank you for viewing our Store,

We have for sale an Antique Apothecary Cork Press
This Mid to Late 1800s Cork Press is made of Cast Iron, these were used by Pharmacists and Druggists to compress corks for medical bottles, With a beautiful Victorian pattern it will make a great display piece for your apothecary cabinet, it has four different diameter 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8” press points.

Measures 8.25” long and can be screwed down to a work surface.
Condition is very good for its age, the original black paint is still present but lightly worn in spots, nice dark patina.

**** Caution there are reproductions of these, they are fairly easy to tell the difference, most reproductions don’t have the screw holes in the feet and if you look at the bottom some are flat and don’t have the support beam running the length of the press.

Photography props not included in purchase.
