We have for sale Six used PYREX 30 ml Buchner Filter Funnels with Fritted Glass Disc Design
Fritted glass funnels are used for vacuum filtration. They have a porous (fritted) glass disk in the middle that allows filtrate to drain through while leaving solids behind. They are more convenient to use than Buchner funnels because there is no filter paper to worry about, but they are harder to clean. Especially useful where filter paper would be attacked by filtered material or filtrate liquid.
Four funnels are M pore size (10-16 microns). Used for filtration and extraction
One is C pore size (40-60 microns). Coarse filtration, adsorption, gas washing, gas absorption
One is F port size (4.0-5.5 microns). Used for filtration and extraction
Very good used condition with no marks, chips or cracks. Some of the disks have discoloration from use.
