We have for sale an Antique 1897 Anheuser Busch Bottle Shaped Corkscrew.
This is an Advertisement bottle opener made by the Williamson Co. Newark N.J. with the Anheuser Busch logo on the front.

Marked on bottom; Williamson Co. Newark N.J. Pat, June 1, 1897
Condition is very good, brass name plate needs a good polishing (we don’t like to clean these some collectors don’t want them cleaned)

History,
The bottle cap was not inverted until 1892 and not highly used until the early 1900s, so even your favorite beer bottle had a cork in it.
