Antique English Silver-Plated Double Biscuit Barrel, Biscuit Server
This is an Antique Victorian style silver-plated two-sided biscuit barrel, made in England. Has England with Makers Mark and pattern number C5210 on base.
This is a two-sided clamshell design with fold-down biscuit shields. The shields lift separately and lock into an open position for serving. Each side of the clamshell lifts upward for storage. This set is missing the lock pins which holds the clamshell upright for storage, it does not hinder the use of the server. Our price has been adjusted for the missing pins.
Circa, 1880-1920.
Marked, England with Makers Mark and pattern number C5210.
Measures, 13” long, 10” tall, 9½” wide.
Condition, wonderful with minor scuffs on base some plating wear on outer shells (shown in pictures).
