Antique 1920s, John Deere Tractor Corn Planter Hopper.
Wonderful find, this tractor Corn Planter Hopper, made by John Deere of Moline ILL. The Hopper is made of cast iron top and bottom with aluminum side wall, the lid pivots to open.
The lid still has a portion of the famous John Deere Green paint from the 1920s.
The logo on the lid was used by John Deere from 1912 till 1950.
The John Deere Moline plant was in operation from 1848 till 1991.
Circa, 1920s
Marked, John Deere
Measures, 10” tall, 8” diameter in middle.
Condition, good for age.
