1930s Red Eastman Kodak Wood Box Camera
Wonderful find, a Red Promotional Brownie Wood Box camera made by the Eastman Kodak Company of Rochester NY.
The Brownie Box Camera manufactured by the Eastman Kodak company from 1907 to 1936.
This series Brownie used a 116-roll film that produced a picture size of 2 ½” X 4 1/4".
Some of the bright red Brownie Box cameras kodak produced were promotional cameras, used to promote film developing companies.
This camera has an ad inside for, The Fox Co. San Antonio Texas, Fox Tone Pictures.
To open the camera, turn the film winder counterclockwise as you pull the winder knob outward. This will release the internal lock.
Overall condition, camera has all its interior parts, exterior is worn and soiled on the exterior leather, and the swivel locks and top handle strap is missing.
Circa, 1920-30s.
Measures, 6¼” x 5¼” x 3½”.
Marked, Eastman Kodak.
