Antique 1913 Rare Kodak No. 1 Junior Folding Camera.
Wonderful find this end of an era 1913 Eastman Kodak A-1 Junior made by Eastman Kodak of Rochester N.Y.
This version A-1 was manufactured from 1898 through 1913. This is the last year this model A-1 Junior was made.
The camera would have used a 116-roll film. On the back of the camera is a metal stylus, this was used to wright on the negative after taking the picture. You slide the bar holding the Stylus down and the compartment door opens where you would have written on the film.
Overall condition is exceptionally good for age, the folding leather bellows are strong no rips or cracks. The camera opens very easily, we show a hidden button in our pictures which opens the front of the camera to slide the bellows out.
The leather outer cover on the camera shows wear and stain loss, which all ads to the character of this lovely camera.
Circa, 1913.
Measures, 8¾” x 4" x 1¾” thickness closed. 6¾” depth when open.
