Antique Pair of Western Spurs
Wonderful pair of western spurs, they are unmarked but have all the characteristics of August Buermann Spurs. August Buermann is one of the most well-known American spurs makers, who started making spurs during the Civil War and started his own company in 1866.
They are a forged spurs with a large 1¾” - 20-point sunburst rowel, they have a 2” shank and the heal band / yoke has about a 3” to 3¼” spread.
The leather straps are very worn with staples holding them together.

Circa, 1890-1910
Marked, none
