Vintage Tooled Leather Cowboy Cuffs
What are Cowboy Cuffs also sometimes called wrist cuffs these are used for protection against brush, to protect your shirt sleeves from wear, and to keep a rope from fouling in your shirt sleeves.
This pair has a hand tooled chain-link design in leather, each cuff has a brass rivet at the wrist end and braded leather band at the other end.
These were found on Southwestern Wyoming. The cowhand has his name written inside the cuffs (C.W. England)
Circa, 1940-50
Measures, 6" long
Marked, none.
Overall condition is very good for age, leather is stiff.
