The Stemfire Fire Extinguisher
Wonderful Copper and Brass Fire Extinguisher made by the Stempel Fire Extinguisher Manufacturing Company of St. Louis, U.S.A.
This is a 2 ½ gallon copper tank Extinguisher with brass raised letter labels. On the backside it has beautiful rivets running up the seam and a hanger/ handle for attaching to the wall. It has been emptied and rinsed out thoroughly, and the top does easily unscrew, at some point in its life it was prepared for making a lamp with a hole drilled in the bottom and top
This will make a wonderful display item for years to come.
Circa, 1920s
Measures, 24¼” high, 7¼” diameter at base.
Condition, nice and clean, couple dents at base shown in picture.
