Pink Depression Glass Butter Press with Cow Design
Wonderful Half Pound Pink Glass Butter Press Mold, with Cow design
This was a very decorative way to dress up your table for dinner; after churning the butter you would place approximately one-half pound of butter into the press and push the handle down to reveal the round shaped butter with a design on the top.
Black background in photos makes the pink glass appear slightly darker than normal.
Circa, 1920-30s
Measurements, 5½” tall with handle down, 4¾” diameter.
Condition, extremely nice clean condition, no chips or cracks, normal scuffs from age, scuff in glass on top of mold as shown in pictures.
