Vintage 1940s Old Topper Beer Tray,
Wonderful Old Topper Ale - Beer Tray from Rochester, NY. Made of heavy gauge metal and measures 11½” diameter.
History,
After Prohibition in 1934 Rochester Brewing Company reopens at 777 Emerson St and introduces Old Topper Ale. Around 1950, the brewery changed its packaging designs, changing their "Old Topper" designation to "Golden Old Topper".
In 1956 The brewery was consolidated and renamed the Standard-Rochester Brewing Company and in 1970 they ceased operation.
Old Topper brand is some of the most collectible and sought after Breweriana items.
