Antique Rope Maker, Cast Iron 3-Strand Rope Maker
Wonderful find a cast iron 3-strand Rope Maker, designed and patented by Orson Bucklin of Marietta, Minnesota, patent #686,440, Nov. 12, 1901. These were manufactured by Thomas Manufacturing of Ohio.
We include a copy of the patent given to Orson Bucklin.
Circa, 1901+
Measures, 13¼” tall, 5¼” wide, depth including handle 7¾”.
Condition, some paint lose from use and wood has cracks, operates smoothly.
