Vintage 1960s Singer Sewhandy Model 20 Child’s Sewing Machine.
Beautiful little sewing machine made by Singer. This is a fully Functional Hand Crank Sewing Machine in toy size. Originally patented in 1910 and manufactured until 1975, these were known as the most popular toy sewing machines ever made. This is the 1960s model which has a thicker base column although it still uses the same mechanics as its predecessor of 1910.
This machine is beautiful in a smooth & crinkle tan colored finish. It operates wonderfully. The thread running is simple on this machine with all the parts numbered 1 through 6 and down to the needle to thread this little machine. Condition is exceptionally clean with only minor scuffs on the finish.
The machine is sold as is with the original box, (box is worn) and instruction manual. Does not include the hold down clamp. The machine was found without the screw which holds the needle in place, my friends at ACE Hardware were happy to help me with a replacement.
