Bob Blackwood Spurs, Sidewinder Spurs, Horizontal Rowels, Side Rowels
This is a pair of rare side rowel spurs, where the 10-point brass rowel is sitting horizontal in the shank.
Made of chrome-plated cast brass with brass rowels and strap buttons. Button strap anchors are made of steel
The long 2” long shank supports a 7/8”, 10-point brass rowel, the heel-band has a 2¾” spread. They come with old worn leather straps.
Circa, 1970s
Markings, B B, (initials for Bob Blackwood).
Condition, nice condition with light surface scuffs, light surface rust on steel, Leathers are old and worn missing one buckle.
