Patented in London England on April 2nd, 1855, this is known as a single lever corkscrew made by William Lund and William Edward Hipkins, British Patent Number 736.
Over the years of manufacturing the single lever corkscrew, the hinge plates on the lever had several versions. The RARE hinge plates on this set are known as the Milestone Trademark.
