1910 Stanley Bedrock Woodworking Plane No 607
Wonderful find, a large 1910 Stanley Bedrock No 607 smooth bottom woodworking plane, made by the Stanley Rule & Level Company New Britian Conn. The plane is marked with two patent dates April 2, 1895, and April 19, 1910. This is a smooth bottom plane measuring 22” long, 2 13/16” wide, with a cutting blade width of 2 3/8”.
The overall condition is good with no restoration, we have lightly cleaned and oiled otherwise as found. The wood knob and handle are very nice no cracks or chips There is some surface rust on the topside of the tail around the numbering No607.
This plane is worthy of restoration or as a gift for a tool collector.
