Stanley Defiance Plane, Woodworking Jack Plane.
Manufactured by Stanley from 1939 till 1953. This is the Defiance plane made by Stanley Tools. This was Stanley’s low-cost tool line.
Circa, 1939-1953
Measures, 14″ long, 2.25” wide with a 2” cutting blade.
Condition, as found handle and knob are worn and dry, bed base has pitting.
