Vintage Wooden Recipe Box Filled with Recipes
We have for sale a charming oak Weis recipe box with excellently crafted dovetail joint. The Hinges are solid brass and have a nice patina.
The recipes are mostly from a newspaper or magazines although some are handwritten.
There are over 300 wonderful recipes on 3” x 5” index cards, in a beautiful wooden box.
The Weis Manufacturing Company operated in Monroe, MI from 1905 to 1964.
Circa, Consistent with 1950s/1960s
Marked, Weis Monroe, Mich USA
Measures, 5¾” long x 3¼” wide x 4¼” high. Uses a standard 3" x 5" index card.
Condition, good vintage condition, couple spots of paint on box.
