Wonderful find this 1880s English corkscrew (The Victor) believed to be designed influenced by Georg Twigg’s 1867 patented corkscrew.
A meticulously crafted, genuine 1880s English Corkscrew that has stood the test of time. This exquisite artifact is not just a corkscrew; it's a work of art and a statement of refinement. With its rich history and impeccable craftsmanship, "The Victor" will transport you to an era of elegance and sophistication.
Operation: The corkscrew has a fixed fly nut at the top of the shaft which is turned clockwise to screw into the cork once seated into the cork turn the second handle clockwise to lift the cork from the bottle.
This is a very sought-after corkscrew for collectors. Owning "The Victor" is not just about enjoying fine wines; it's about owning a piece of history that can be passed down through generations.
