Antique French Corkscrew, Wine Bottle Opener.
Wonderful find this brass and bone handled Mid-Sized Corkscrew made in France and Marked (PLAINCHAMP) on shaft.
The handle is solid brass with bovine bone inlayed into the top of the handle, the 3 ¼” long square shaft has a bladed worm.
* A mid-sized corkscrew is between 3” to 4.5” in length and width of 2” to 3”.
Circa, 1920-30s
Measures, 3 7/8” long, 1 7/8” wide at handle.
Condition, fair, with scuffs and dings in brass shaft has dents.
