Antique Kellogg Wall Telephone, Cathedral Style, Hand Crank
Wonderful early 1900's quarter-sawn oak with picture frame front and cathedral style top crank telephone.
Made by the Kellogg Switchboard & Supply Co. of Chicago, Illinois.
The telephone is all original with crank generator, the phone used to have two dry cell batteries which were located just below the generator, these were removed at some point.
The Cabinet is in wonderful condition for being over 100 years old, it is made of quarter-sawn oak, with dovetail corner construction, a very solidly made piece.
Circa, 1910s
Measures, 26” tall, 10 ¼” wide, protrudes off wall 14”, weighs 27.8 pounds.
Condition, extremely nice condition, box has a few small nicks and dings, the receiver is made of Bakelite and has wear on the ear piece.
